    Many different scholarship applications for seniors are posted on the Counseling Center's webpage as well as in the student's Naviance account under 'document library.' Paper copies are also available on our Scholarship Table in the Counseling Center.  Why not take a look?  Remember,  you have to be in it to win it!

  • Weather Reserve Days 1, 2, 3 and 4 are now in-session days

    February 16, March 29, May 25  and May 29 will now be in-session days due to schools closing on October 30 because of loss of power, and on January 4, 5 and 17 because of snow.

  • Consider Allergies Before Bringing Food to Share

    Please check with your child’s teacher before bringing snacks, holiday foods, and special decorations into school to share with the class as we have students in our district who have allergies to nuts, tree nuts, peanuts, peanut butter, spices, latex, bees etc.

  • Pre-ACT Registration is Taking Place Now Through February 23rd for Any Interested Sophomore

    Bring a check to the Counseling Center in the amount of $30 (made payable to "KLSD") and you will be registered to take this exam on Saturday morning, March 10th.

  • Attention Parents of 11th Grade Students:

    If you have not done so already, please schedule your "Junior College Planning Meeting" with your child's counselor.  Counselors will discuss college admissions, the college search, Naviance, and SAT/ACT testing.  As your child must be in attendance for this meeting, please ask them which 2 consecutive periods throughout the day are best in order to avoid missing an academic class.  These meetings encompass two consecutive periods and are scheduled from 8:15AM through 1:30PM daily. To schedule an appointment, please call the Counseling Center at 763-7216.
