John Jay High School Spring Concerts
Bring Music to the Community

Music is in the air at the John Jay High School next week! At John Jay High School, the school’s twelve musical ensembles will present their final concerts of the year in a series of performances May 19th, 21st, 29th and June 4th. All concerts begin at 7:00 pm at the John Jay High School auditorium and are free and open to the public.

AN IMPORTANT REMINDER. Students who have turned 18 years of age are eligible to register to vote and will also be able to vote on the school budget on May 20. The deadline to register and still be able to vote on the budget is this Thursday (5/15). Students can always register during the school day with Mrs. Semenetz in the main office.

Congratulations to all for a wonderful Jay Fest weekend. Our coaches and student athletes showed sportsmanship and character as they competed through out the weekend. We would like to thank the Booster Club for their support of the event and a special thanks to our grounds men and custodians for having our facilities in spectacular shape considering the weather on Friday. Please look to your left for a summary of Jay Fest 2008.

Please note..A football information meeting for parents of JV and Varsity players has been scheduled for Tuesday (5/20) at 7 PM in the HS Health Classroom.

~ June 2008 Regents Schedule ~

Please look to your left under School Resources and click on June Regents Schedule for the dates of each Regents exam. (5/15) We have just added the local exam information and schedule.

If you missed the fall Drama, Comedy of Errors it will be aired by JJTV on channel 20 Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM and Sunday evenings at 8:30 PM. continuing for the next couple of weeks during the same time slots. Interviews with the actors will be aired starting one hour before the show.
