Dear JJHS Community,
Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! We all hope the summer provided time for rest, connection, and renewal, and that our students are returning with energy, curiosity, and a readiness to make the most of the opportunities ahead.
There is so much to be optimistic about at JJHS as we begin this year together. Our school facilities have continued to improve, including upgrades to the new entrance, B Wing has been a hit with the students, and upgraded and fully refurbished science classrooms in the C wing are ready to receive our students. These spaces reflect our ongoing commitment to providing students with a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for learning, collaboration, and exploration.
Whether through clubs, activities, performing arts, athletics, service opportunities, or student leadership, we encourage all our students to get involved. Joining a club or team is one of the best ways to build friendships, discover new strengths, and create lasting memories.
We are especially excited for the Class of 2027 as they begin their senior year. This is a milestone year filled with tradition, leadership, reflection, and celebration. We look forward to seeing our seniors set a positive tone for the school, support one another, demonstrate maturity and leadership for the underclassmen, and fulfill all their dreams for this year and beyond.
As always, our goal is to ensure that each student feels known, supported, challenged, and inspired as we deliver our best instruction and offer many learning opportunities aligned with our KLSD Vision 2030.
We are grateful for the partnership of our families and the dedication of our faculty and staff, and we look forward to working together to make this a successful and meaningful year for all.
Let’s begin!
Sincerely,
Steven T. Siciliano, Ed.D.
